For photographers like myself events such as classic car shows, outdoor rallies, under-the-lights exhibits and competitions are a wealth of material for artistic interpretation and expression. Southport, NC has been my home for the past ten years and it too has a thriving Car Collector community. Summer is high season and car enthusiasts flock to the many free outdoor collector shows in the region, around twenty events per year and counting.
